Yoga and Tantra Retreat For Couples

In “Maxims for a Revolutionist” George Bernard Shaw coins the phrase “He who can does, he who cannot teaches”

So, with divorce papers in one hand and another relationship slipping out of the other, some might well argue that running retreats for couples was the last thing I should consider.

It was quite possibly my own fragile heart, my need to love, be loved, explore ones own desires and how to keep passion alive in love that I was able to play a role in how these retreats have been shaped.

Forming an Instant bond and trust for my Sankktuary team mates, it was undoubtedly their transparency, knowledge and experience that meant we were able to create a safe space to support like minded couples to explore their relationships with yogic & tantric principals.

While we invite couples to make deeper connections, build more trusting relationships; exploring ones love for each other (along side ones own sensuality) it undoubtedly runs the risk that a weekend like this can expose some uncomfortably truths.

I truly have so much respect and love for the couples who have joined us over the past three years on this incredible journey thus far and trusted us to navigate them through these practices.

Exhausting, hilarious, incredibly funny, often tearful and always good fun, my own understanding of relationships and what love can look like has been shaped by the honesty and openness of these couples.

The transformation and rapid growth of Sankk has taken us all on a steep learning curve,  Im so in love and proud of team of Women who hold my hand and heart on these weekends.
