Each class encourages the student to work with the breath and poses in
order to still the mind and relax the body.We begin with a subtle
and sensitive approach to asanas(poses), working with gravity and the
breath to elongate the spine.
Meditation is sometimes practiced alone or visited throughout the practice

As we bring our awareness to the breath, we allow our bodies to become lighter, with greater understanding and freedom we give our bodies the chance to explore the space. Like a dance our bodies are free to explore rather than get stuck in positons or goals to reach poses..

YOGA NIDRA

Each yoga nidra class starts with a gentle asana and pranayama class to help settle and prepare the mind and body for Nidra. Yoga Nidra is a systematic method of inducing complete physical mental and emotional relaxation. Yoga meaning Union and Nidra meaning sleep.(Consciousness is functioning at a deeper level of awareness)
